Writer’s Atelier Stands for Reproductive Rights

We are saddened and outraged by the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and we are cognizant of the fact that this is neither the beginning nor the end of one of the most crucial fights of our generation.

Writer’s Atelier is a woman-owned and women-operated small business. This hits home for us.

That’s why, from now through July 31st, 2022, when you donate $50 or more to one of the following organizations, you can choose one of two courses in our private network—Plotting Your Prose by Amy Christine Parker or Build Your Author Website with Google Sites by Megan Fuentes—to access for free.

The Courses

When you donate and submit your receipt, you can choose one of the two courses below to access for free. Both courses are hosted on our private network, which you can always join for free.

Plotting Your Prose by Amy Christine Parker

What if plotting your novel could be easy and joyful? What if you could set up an effective system for idea development and story outlining that could make the brainstorming and writing faster and easier and significantly reduce any revisions needed?

This course will provide the tools to: develop your ideas into fully realized pitch-worthy premises, create storyboards that will help guide your plot, characters, and setting in the right direction, and brainstorm scenes that will cover all the essential plot points every good story requires.

Broken down into easily digestible short session modules and accompanied by a 45-page mini workbook filled with extended tips, tricks, helpful tech, and links to books and articles to extend your studies, this course will help both beginning and experienced novelists.

Access to the course is typically an investment of $97.

Build Your Author Website with Google Sites by Megan Fuentes

We have watched social media sites gain and lose favor at breakneck speeds. We have watched them fizzle and die mere months after being touted as the latest and greatest thing. Perhaps you’ve even watched writers you know and love grapple with visibility when they lose their accounts—for no good reason.

Wouldn’t it be swell to have a corner of the Internet all your own, where you knew you could direct your readers without fail? Better yet, how about a digital space where you have control over pretty much everything from content to aesthetic to function?

Those are the sort of perks having your own website can provide you. This course will teach you how to navigate user-friendly Google Sites to create your first author website for your books to call home. From selecting colors and fonts to assigning a custom URL, Megan will walk you through every step of the way.

Access to the course is typically an investment of $75.
