Writer’s Atelier Has a New Look

Writer’s Atelier has changed so much since I officially joined the team back in 2019. And of course we have—WA has been through so much! We’ve survived a global pandemic. We’ve said hello to a new physical space, then goodbye, then hello again to a new online space complete with its own app. We’ve added new courses, new services for graphics and websites, and tons of blog posts!

(I didn’t expect to tear up writing this, yet here I am, misty-eyed…)

Now we’re debuting a new logo and a redesigned website. But no matter what changes you see or will see, one thing will always stay the same: Writer’s Atelier is here to help writers like you.

We have a new logo!

Designed by our very own Racquel Henry, the Writer’s Atelier logo has gotten a sleek redesign fit for the new decade. You can see it now on our website and our socials.

We’re keeping the color palette you know and love—black, white and gold—and you’ll still see our trademark monochrome on Instagram. But our Reels are a different story! (Get it? Story, like Instagram Stories…) Behind those black and white covers are vertical videos bursting with color. Give them a tap and see!

We also gave our website a makeover.

Our website’s homepage now has a Pinterest-y feel, with all of our blog posts on full display. We think this better reflects how we hope you think of Writer’s Atelier—as a resource you keep coming back to for writing advice and inspiration.

And check out our menu! We’ve simplified, added new pages, and redesigned others.

Free downloads have been corralled onto a single page.

We love giving back to our community. One way we do that is by making a few of our resources free to download, like our November Novel Planner and Author Table Checklist. And we’ll continue to add downloadable and printable freebies in the years to come! Now, you’ll be able to find them all on a single page. No more hunting for that blog post! (Though you could always pin your favorites—wink-wink, nudge-nudge!)

Browse fiction and nonfiction on our new Writer’s Atelier Books page.

You’re no doubt familiar with our 90-Day Novel Planner and The Write Gym Workbook, but did you know we have other offerings, including short stories?

The Write Gym landing page has gotten a classy upgrade.

Our coaching and accountability program is in its sixth year, and we’re thrilled to present a chic new landing page that provides all the details you’ll be looking for when you’re ready to join.

Our Instructors & Team page is updated—with more to come!

We’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing people, putting them all on one page has become a Herculean task! We will continue to update this page with instructors past and present.

Coming soon: a week-long writing challenge delivered straight to your inbox!

Megan Fuentes is an author, a freelancer, and a content creator for Writer’s Atelier. Her favorite things in the world include iced coffee, 4thewords, Canva, and telling you about those things. And writing, too. And lists! When she's not obsessing over story structure or helping her family think their way out of an escape room, she hangs out with her partner, Logan—a fellow multi-hyphenate—and dotes on their dumpster kitty, Rochelle. You can find her books at Amazon.com and Bookshop.org. She also sells productivity printables via her Etsy shop. If you liked her blog post, consider buying her a coffee.
