Motivational Minute with Racquel Henry #117: Write, But Slow Down

It’s Christmas Eve! Who better than our holiday-loving leader Racquel Henry to make us merry this week in Motivational Minute #117 on Writer’s Atelier TV?

Her advice sounds contradictory: write, but slow down.

We hear you. “Slow down? Who has time for that?”

Racquel wants to remind you that, in addition to spending time with your writing, you should also carve out time to spend with your loved ones this holiday season.

It’s very easy to get into the cycle of doing-doing-doing and going-going-going like Racquel is prone to do. Of course we want to get our writing done, but there’s nothing like a little bit of a reset and some downtime to get you back into your writing routine refreshed and ready for more.

So let’s all try and remember to slow down a little this holiday season.

Happy writing! And happy holidays from everyone at Writer’s Atelier!
