Motivational Minute with Paige Lavoie #92: Writers, Be Yourself!

Paige is whispering to us sweet words of motivation in Motivational Minute #92 on Writer’s Atelier TV!

Paige is recording this week after the BookNet Fest’s after-party, which was this past weekend. While she was there, she got to thinking about all of us writers, readers, and creative book-loving people tend to think of ourselves as weird and awkward.

Because of those qualities, sometimes we get scared to meet new friends and reach out to new people.

But guess what.

All those things that make you “weird” and “awkward” are what make you uniquely you! And we all have our quirks, so you’re not alone!

Most writers describe themselves as strange or silly or awkward, so never be afraid to be who you really are. Connect with your community, make friends, and say hello to new people. You never know what beautiful new friendships you could end up walking away with.

Happy writing!
