Motivational Minute with Oliver Lavoie #83: Writing a Book Takes a Long Time

Paige’s lovable pup Oliver Lavoie has taken over in Motivational Minute #83 on Writer’s Atelier TV!

If you needed to hear it, Oliver wanted to be the one to say that writing a book is really hard. He knows things that are really hard take a very long, long time to do.

Sometimes it’ll feel like writing a book is taking too long to do. But guess what? You gotta keep going to get your book out of you! You’ll get there!

Don’t let yourself get distracted by shiny things like new ideas and other projects. Oliver gets distracted by chew toys sitting on the floor off-camera. He, however, isn’t writing a book, so we’ll give him a free pass.

Keep writing your book and keep telling your stories.

Happy writing!
