Motivational Minute with Paige Lavoie #102: No Time for Revisions

Paige Lavoie is giving us the green light in Motivational Minute #102 on Writer’s Atelier TV!

Just like how sometimes you try to talk and words just don’t come out right, sometimes you write and words just don’t come out right. You look over the scenes you’ve written during NaNoWriMo and get kind of discouraged.

Well, Paige is right there with you. She looks at a paragraph and thinks, “I could’ve written that better.” But guess what. That’s what revisions are for.

Now, if you think of a way to fix it while you’re writing and you have the energy to do so, go for it! That’s totally up to you. But you also have permission to be messy.

This is your National Novel Writing Month. Do with it what you please.

Happy writing!
