Motivational Minute #101: Make a Pinterest Board

Paige Lavoie is encouraging us to make Pinterest boards to inspire our NaNoWriMo projects in Motivational Minute #101 on Writer’s Atelier TV!

You can get so inspired to work on your books through pictures and music, and Pinterest is a great way to find them. For those who don’t know, Pinterest is a website and an app that allows you to save links and images to a board in the same way you might pin something up on a physical cork board in your workspace to inspire you.

If you haven’t done so already, and you’re feeling a little bit stuck today, Paige encourages you to go on Pinterest and find a bunch of inspiring images that remind you of your story. And have fun with it!

If you’re worried you’re going to spend too much time on it, feel free to set a Pinterest timer, so you can remind yourself to get back to writing.

Listen to music that inspires you and find those pretty pictures! Allow yourself to daydream a little bit, and have fun!

If you’d like, leave the link to your Pinterest board in the comments! You can find Paige’s Pinterest board here. Can you tell she had so much fun making it?

Happy writing!
