Motivational Minute #145: Writers, You Are Making Progress

After a hiatus, we’ve got more Motivational Minutes for you here on the blog and on Writer’s Atelier TV! Our beloved founder, Racquel Henry, is here to give us one of her famous pep talks!

Recently, Racquel posted a quote (you should definitely follow us on Instagram if you’re looking for more of those in your writing life) which said, “Progress looks different for everyone.”

That got Racquel thinking because she—yes, even she—looks around and wonders if she’s making enough progress.

Sometimes progress looks like finishing a manuscript. Sometimes progress looks like hitting your word count for the day. Sometimes it looks like sending a newsletter out.

If you’re on social media and seeing the success of other writers, wondering if you’re making enough progress, rest assured—you absolutely are. If you are doing anything to move your writing forward and towards your eventual goals, then you are doing exactly what you need to be doing.

Happy writing!
