The Write Gym: Love, Love, Love! By Kathy Elbert

The Write Gym made profound changes in my attitude and approach to writing. This program helped me realize I wasn’t alone in finding my way through distractions, detours, and confidence crises to get my writing done. From the moment I signed up for the program, I was never alone—and it meant so much!

By writing down my goals every Monday and reviewing them every Saturday, I kept track of where I was and how realistic or unrealistic I was being. I got real with myself!

The Write Gym made me show up every week and provided me with the tools and inspiration I needed. I have a file of writing prompts and information I continue to use—even two years later! The program provided the encouragement and inspiration I needed to finish my first draft six months into the program—after having worked on it for more than two years! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Write Gym offered continuous access to members so that you could ask questions, meet for workshops, and attend write-ins. It is a sincere and dedicated community of writers that will do anything to help you succeed. All you have to do is ask!

I am forever grateful to the friends that I made and the sincere and heartfelt encouragement that I received for Racquel, Arielle, and all the members! They made all the difference—and continue to encourage and inspire me every day!
