2022 has arrived, and that means it’s time to bring back our seventh-annual The Write Brunch! We use this event to fund the free and premium educational and encouraging content—from blog posts to courses to special events—that we produce for writers of every skill level.
The Write Brunch will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 11:30 AM EST inside our network. This year, multi-hyphenate Jonathan Maberry—creator of the V-Wars series for Netflix, author of more than 40 novels, 130 short stories, 22 graphic novels, 1200 feature articles, 18 nonfiction books, greeting cards, and two plays—will talk about how to turn your dream of writing into a fun, productive, successful, and happy career. None of it is magic. All of it is possible.
Meet Our Guest Speaker
Jonathan Maberry is a New York Times best-seller, five-time Bram Stoker Award-winner, anthology editor, comic book writer, executive producer, magazine feature writer, playwright, and writing teacher/lecturer. He is the editor of Weird Tales Magazine and president of the International Association of Media Tie-in Writers. He is the recipient of the Inkpot Award, three Scribe Awards, and was named one of the Today’s Top Ten Horror Writers. His books have been sold to more than thirty countries. He writes in several genres including thriller, horror, science fiction, epic fantasy, and mystery; and he writes for adults, middle grade, and young adult.
