Motivational Minute with Racquel Henry #166: NaNoWriMo High Five!

After emerging from a frantic state of NaNoWriMo-ing, our fearless founder, Racquel Henry is back with another Motivational Minute on Writer’s Atelier TV!

And with regards to National Novel Writing Month, TGIO—thank goodness it’s over!

While you breathe a sigh of relief, Racquel wants you to celebrate if you did any writing at all during November. Don’t think about the word count. Did you outline or flesh out your characters? Have an ah-ha moment? Did you have fun?

Whether you won NaNo (or met your own expectations) or not, you ought to take a moment to smile and remember that you are further ahead this month than you were last month. And if you keep writing, making a little progress every day, you’ll go further still!

That’s how everything that’s ever been done has been done. That’s how you eat an elephant, they say—one bite at a time. (Not to be confused with eating frogs.)

Happy writing!

If you want inspiration offline, have you heard that Racquel has written a mini book of affirmations for writers? It’s available in our shop!

We’d love to have you involved in our writing community! Thanks for everything!
