Motivational Minute with Racquel Henry #158: Don’t Be Afraid to Talk About Your Book

Our fearless leader, Racquel Henry is back with another Motivational Minute on Writer’s Atelier TV.

As we discussed on our Instagram this week, it’s a beautiful thing when we praise other writers’ works, but you shouldn’t neglect to give your own writing the same treatment.

Why does Racquel say this? Because Racquel is one of those people. She tends to share everyone else’s achievements, but will forget to talk about her own work.

(Pssst! This is Megan, beloved administrative assistant, popping in to hype up Racquel’s work for her. She has two swoony, Hallmark-y holiday romance novelettes out now, Holiday on Park and Letter to Santa, and a new one coming soon called Christmas in Cardwick! You can learn more on her website!)

But your work is just as worthy of recognition. Don’t forget to tell other people what you’ve accomplished, too. You can start by commenting on our Instagram post asking you to share what you’re working on and what you’ve finished!

Happy writing!
