Motivational Minute with Racquel Henry #157: Slow Down and Appreciate the Writing Journey

Our fearless founder is back again with a one-minute pep talk!

This week, the message is simple: slow down and appreciate the writing journey you’re on.

When was the last time you took some time to revel in the milestones you’ve hit and the boxes you’ve checked? Whatever it is you’ve done thus far—maybe you completed a novel, novella, or short story; maybe you wrote a solid paragraph yesterday—it’s an accomplishment to be proud of.

You have come so far, writer. Do not forget that, even if the road ahead of you looks so much darker and twistier than the road you’ve traveled so far. You are closer to your dream today than you were yesterday, and that’s all that matters.

Happy writing!
