Motivational Minute with Paige Lavoie #98: Things Don’t Always Go As Planned

Paige Lavoie welcomes you to her new set in Motivational Minute #98 on Writer’s Atelier TV!

Unfortunately, Paige was not able to film three Motivational Minute videos in a row like she planned because, well, her microphone wasn’t plugged in. Oops.

Sometimes, things don’t go as planned. It’s a topic we’ve discussed before in our MMs, and we’re talking about it again!

This week, Paige planned to dive into revisions in an attempt to get her current story done before jumping into NaNoWriMo. Instead, she got super sick and behind on everything.

Does that mean Paige is going to give up? No.

Did she think about giving up, and not pursuing NaNoWriMo? Kinda.

But that’s silly! Just because you’re behind on your goals doesn’t mean you should abandon them. She—and you, if you’re in a similar position—should get back on that horse!

If you’re sick like Paige, maybe that means making a cup of tea, taking your laptop with you to a snuggly spot with a million pillows, and getting the work done that way. Give yourself time to rest, recover, but also, get that writing done!

Believe in yourself. We already believe in you!

Happy writing!
