Motivational Minute with Paige Lavoie #93: Experiment!

Paige is encouraging us to take risks and try new things in Motivational Minute #93 on Writer’s Atelier TV!

Don’t be afraid to be experimental. Like when Paige experimented with her make-up for this post’s accompanying YouTube video. (We think it looks great, Paige!)

Paige normally just does the same thing every day, and most of the time, she thinks she isn’t capable of doing anything else. But we never learn or grow as creative people if we keep doing the same thing over and over.

Don’t be afraid to jump out of your comfort zone if you have a fun idea you want to work on. Don’t be afraid to write romance if you’ve never written romance before—or fantasy, sci-fi, cozy mystery, or whatever strikes your fancy.

Follow your inspiration, and try out new things. Keep being excited by your writing, and we’ll be back with more motivation next week.

Happy writing!
