MOTIVATIONAL MINUTE WITH PAIGE LAVOIE ON WRITER'S ATELIER TV #36 - Writing Advice - Don't Be Mean to Yourself

Motivational Minute with Paige Lavoie #36

Writers, what are you saying to yourself on a regular basis? This week on Writer’s Atelier TV, Paige Lavoie discusses negative self-talk. We writers can be pretty mean to ourselves. It’s a little unfortunate. What happens when you can’t turn off the negative voice inside your head? It can have a negative impact on our own writing. If we think about it and let ourselves be positive, we can all come up with at least one thing we love about our writing. The challenge this week: Think about what you love about yourself as a writer and storyteller, then own it. Whether you are good at worldbuilding, great at expressing emotion, or the king/queen of dialogue, celebrate what makes you awesome and be proud of yourself!
