Motivational Minute with Paige Lavoie #137: Start Your Day Off Right

This week, Paige Lavoie talks about starting the day on the right foot in Motivational Minute #137 on Writer’s Atelier TV!

And she isn’t talking about having a balanced breakfast or drinking water first thing. She’s talking about setting intentions.

We all have bad habits that tend to do us more harm than good. Paige, for example, is guilty of grabbing her phone first thing in the morning and combing through notifications and timelines. This practice is known as “doomscrolling,” and before she even gets out of bed, it takes the wind out of Paige’s sails!

Think about little things you can do instead to start your day off right. Pick a good habit to replace your old one. Whether it’s journaling, making a list of things you’re grateful for, going for a walk, or drinking a gallon of tea and watching cartoons, set your day up for success!

Happy writing!
