When you’re feeling stressed out and not sure where an idea you’ve been talking about is going, you can find magic in moments where you’re just writing for you—a secret project, if you will.
Recently, our heroine woke up in the middle of the night with an idea, started writing, and hasn’t stopped since. The project is at 40,000 words already, and Paige is only now starting to share what the story is about.
It’s wonderful to share what you’re working on with your community. However, there’s something to be said for the sort of magic that happens when it’s just you and a story.
So allow yourself to have a secret project once in a while. Absolutely be vulnerable and share, but remember that you’re allowed to have secrets, too!
