Paige Lavoie is sporting a new, fantasy tavern-inspired look in Motivational Minute #128 on Writer’s Atelier TV!
Paige wanted to give us all permission to explore new worlds we didn’t create in this time when our world seems—to put it mildly—off-kilter.
This could be through books, movies, or even roleplaying games. Paige is participating in a roleplaying game on TikTok today, which is why she’s dressed as a peasant woman in the video below. She’s also gotten really into Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a game all about escaping to a deserted island you can alter to fit your vision.
We are allowed to take a step back from the news and our writing, take a break from an hour or two, and just let ourselves relax and escape for a little bit.
So go ahead—go imagine, play, and explore a little bit.
