Motivational Minute with Paige Lavoie #123: We’re Moving!

Paige Lavoie so excited about our big move in Motivational Minute #123 on Writer’s Atelier TV!

You’ve probably seen by now that Writer’s Atelier has announced a move—we’re shifting our studio space from Winter Park to Maitland! Though details regarding when it will be open to the public have yet to be released, Paige wanted to take a moment to talk about how important community is.

Whether you’re meeting in person or interacting online, having a writing community is essential. Nobody quite understands what it’s like to write a book except people who are also writing books. When you’re struggling with characters and plot, it’s nice to be able to look over at the writer next to you, know they’re struggling with the same things, and freak out about it together.

This is the writing journey, and it’s beautiful.

Paige can’t wait to see what wonderful things Writer’s Atelier will do in the future. And your local writing community surely has many wonderful things in store for you as well!

Connect with your community. Do not be afraid to make writer friends! Writer friends are some of the best friends you will ever have. It’s so scary to put yourself out there and share your work and be vulnerable, but it’s absolutely worth it!

Cheers to growing, to changing, and to learning together!

Happy writing!
