Paige Lavoie is delivering her words of wisdom after everyone else has gone to bed in Motivational Minute #114 on Writer’s Atelier TV.
Since she doesn’t have to wake up early, Paige has decided to stay up a little later than usual to get her words in. Nothing feels quite like a midnight writing sprint for her. Such sessions remind Paige of staying up late all night as a teenager, filling notebooks with stories. Perhaps you have similar—if not identical—memories.
If your schedule doesn’t allow for large chunks of uninterrupted writing time, you have to write where and when you can—late at night, early in the morning, during lunch, in waiting rooms, et cetera.
Remember: making time for your writing isn’t just about making time for your story. It’s also about making time for yourself.
