Motivational Minute #195: Embrace the Hard Parts of Your Writing Projects

Is the writing feeling hard recently? Don’t worry, we have another Motivational Minute that’s just what you need to hear! This week, our founder and resident writing coach Racquel Henry talks about embracing the hard parts of your writing projects.

As usual, this week’s quote connects to Racquel’s own writing journey. She’s recently run into a difficult part in her manuscript that’s making her want to run for the hills and never look back at this WIP!

Still, she doesn’t follow that impulse. She’s sticking it out, stretching her writing muscles, and strengthening her skills. Racquel knows that she can get the book done, and she knows you can get your project done, too!

So this is your reminder that, today, if you are struggling with a part of your book and you’re feeling like you wanna quit, don’t give up. Power through, and eventually everything will work out.

Speaking of powering through, have you heard of the Write Brave Challenge? It’s the perfect push to get yourself through those hiccups in your writing process! During this 30-day writing challenge (September 15–October 15), you’ll choose your own intention and a daily goal to help you achieve that intention and check in daily with our online community to keep yourself accountable, cheer your fellow writers on, and be cheered on!

We hope you’ll join us for the Write Brave Challenge this year!

Happy writing!
