Motivational Minute with Paige Lavoie #113: Quitting NaNoWriMo?

Today, Paige Lavoie reveals that she almost walked away from her NaNoWriMo journey in Motivational Minute #113 on Writer’s Atelier TV.

At this point, there are a lot of us who have fallen behind this National Novel Writing Month. And there are those of us who have fallen far behind—as in, will need to write 15,000 words in a single weekend to catch up. Or more than that.

But Paige has nothing going on this weekend, so she can use all that time for her story. Her project has her feeling a little stumped right now, and giving up sounds like a very easy thing to do…

But she won’t! Instead, Paige will break down her scenes and get herself re-inspired! Woo-hoo!

So even if you’re not where you want to be with your story, do your best for the rest of the month. Maybe you won’t hit 50k, but you can still get a really good start to your story.

Don’t give up on yourself. Remember that you can always reach out to your friendly neighborhood writing community when you feel that need.

Happy writing!
